What I love about this recipe is I can throw it together right after work. It's so quick and easy. No pre cooking needed. I have my sauce here. I'm just going to submerge my pan and cover it in that sauce and then taking my dried uncooked noodles here. I'm just going to squeeze my ricotta mixture all along the base here and sandwich these noodles together. Layering them into my sauce here going in stages like steps and then the bottom is nice and soaked up that sauce. Now, I'm going to cover the top with the rest of my sauce to ensure that these top noodles are completely covered and that that moisture is going to cook these noodles to perfection. I'm just going to top it with some mozzarella cheese and then head off to the onion oven. Bake this up for about 45 minutes until the noodles are cooked and you have a nice crusty cheese top just like this. And with only a 45 minute rise time… 🤯 These are probably one of the best breads I’ve made so far. PLS PLS PLS give them a try! SAVE this recipe to test it out and follow @minoomakesstuff for more bread 💛 Here’s how to make these 5 ingredient Italian sub rolls 👇🏻: 1. In a bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups warm water, 2 tbsp instant yeast, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 3 1/2 tsp sugar and 3 1/2 tsp olive oil. Give that a mix. 2. Add in 4 cups all purpose flour, mixing as you add it in, then mix until a rough, shaggy dough forms. Cover and let that sit for 15 minutes. 3. Your dough should already be at least 50% bigger. Transfer to a counter and knead until a smooth dough ball forms. Divide into 4 pieces. 4. Shape each piece into a ball then roll into a ~ 8 X 8 inch square (doesn’t have to exact). Start rolling the square very tightly all the way down till you have a baguette like shape, then pinch the seams and sides to close and roll out to make them slightly longer. 5. Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet, brush with some water. Cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes. Once risen, brush with water one more time and add desired toppings. Bake at 375 F for 20-25 minutes or until fully golden. Remove, allow to cool fully and enjoy!
