3 Main Steps in Making Your Heirloom Furniture
BUILD: One piece of furniture will go through the hands of a few craftsmen. One will make the drawer boxes, one will make the case itself, etc., and one will assemble. SAND: After a piece is assembled, it will be sanded down to a smooth surface. A light helps this craftsman to see any spots potentially missed. FINISH: When assembly and sanding are completed, the piece is sent to the finish shop where the stain and/or paint is applied along with a top seal for protection.
