I used winter colors for my version of this. I couldn't find a metal ring, so I made one from a coat hanger. And I chose ribbon that was much narrower causing the wreath to be narrower. So I will have to add something in the middle to give it some bulk, but I liked the design. It was super easy. Make a triangle: Use a wire coat hanger as a marching-band triangle. Tie a piece of yarn or string in a loop to the hook of the hanger, then bend the hook down and twist it closed (wrap packing tape around it if you think the edges are sharp).
