Spanish Colonial / Mediterranean Revival (US)

This board is to cover the Spanish Colonial Revival (aka Mediterranean Revival aka Spanish Revival) style as it has appeared across the southern United States. This style came into popularity around 1920-1940. Spanish Colonial homes were originally, besides older, much smaller and simpler. I think this specific revival is a great look at how advancements in technology and increasing wealth can impact architecture over time.
