This scarf features a completely reversible stitch pattern with a 4 row repeat, and is easy to memorize. I knitted this scarf in two pieces and seamed them together, and I really believe that the seams prevent the scarf from getting stretched out. The pattern is a fast knit- it took me less than a week from cast on to cast off.
Secret Beach Diagonal Scarf
In Austin, TX there is a place called Secret Beach. It’s a little known yet popular place on the Eastside where hipsters and outdoor enthusiasts gather alike. Secret Beach is where the beautiful Colorado River meets the land, and this scarf is where beautiful colors meet a textured design. Perfect for the hipster or outdoor enthusiast in you!
I’ve been on a kick lately making what I call “continuous shawls” I don’t really know if these things have an official name. I just love the way triangular shawls look when worn with the point in front, and I wanted a way to do that without worrying about the shawl falling off, so that’s where the idea came from for me. I’m sure you will be seeing several more patterns in this style coming from me in the future!
Lacey Infinity Scarf
Our featured pattern for the 2016 LA Yarn Crawl! This versatile infinity scarf uses only one skein of Tosh DK. Pattern will be free to download for a week after the crawl.
Single Skein Scarflette pattern by Annie Ciszak Pazar
Every single knitter I know has a small hoard of single skeins just waiting for something awesome to happen. Recently I have launched a campaign to end the single skeins in my stash and make amazing things. I love the simple yet elegant look of the fan and feather pattern (you will get so many compliments and those not-in-the-know will think you are a magician). With a few adjustments, it makes an amazing scarflette. Quick and easy.
River is a simple garter sideways triangle worked with simple stripes and simple eyelet lace. It can be knit quickly and this yarn is seriously so stunning to work with! If you’re a Vancouver Local you can pick up your skeins at Urban Yarns, if not they have them up on their online shop!
Jacob's Ladder Seaman's Scarf
A nifty knit for a manly man. A Seaman style scarf featuring a Jacob’s Ladder pattern on the front panels. The seed stitch edging keeps the scarf lying flat while the 4x4 ribbing hugs the neck.
