Pictures of U.S. Parks

Images of state parks, national parks, and national monuments within the United States of America. If one looks at through a virtual map service, one can see how much land is used for agriculture, industry, commerce, residence, and how much of it is wilderness. It shows some of the significance of having such parks. I've been to a few of these parks.

Walnut Canyon Flagstaff, Arizona

Narrow ledges hundreds of feet above the canyon floor pass without notice, and soon the destination comes into view — ancient dwellings built into the cliff, where they’ve weathered centuries of wind, rain and progress.
