Writing Steps Anchor Charts and I Can Statements

This packet includes 4 mini posters to reinforce the steps in writing. Also included are 6 I Can statements to help students with editing during writing. As a bonus, I have included mini bookmarks for your students with the writing steps and editing reminders! Print back to back, laminate, cut and give one to each student for a quick reference! Posters include: Writing Steps: 1 - I can brainstorm ideas for my writing. 2 - I can draw and color with at least 4 colors. 3 - I can label at least 3 things in my picture. 4 - I can write a sentence. Editing Posters: I can spell my sight words correctly. I can use finger spaces. I can use punctuation at the end of every sentence. (2 versions) I can capitalize the first letter in a sentence. I can stretch the word and write the sounds.
