Duchess of Cambridge debuted Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara in December 2015’s Diplomatic Reception. In 1913, Queen Mary commissioned Garrard & Co. to make a copy of the original Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara owned by her grandmother, Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel, using her own diamonds and pearls.
