Each plate will be packaged with care, and insured. Shop with confidence that if anything is damaged in transit, it will be replaced.

If you order more than one set, chances are you will get duplicates of some themes, colors, design.

You will receive plates similar to the ones shown in the photo, ranging from 9.75 inches to 11 inches.

I have 100s of plates, and can't possibly photograph each one. I receive dozens of new dishes weekly, and also fulfill many orders weekly, so my inventory changes. Various brands, colors, sizes, styles and years, and all beautiful! Most pieces are brand new, some pieces are vintage mint. This listing is for random mismatched items similar in theme, design and/or style as the ones shown in the photographs.

I currently have 20 listings for mismatched plates/bowls, each listing has 10-12 photos showing table settings with plates in all sizes, shapes and styles, and all photos are current, I update photos as I receive new sets. Consider this listing, and ALL other similar listings, your portfolio. You will receive plates/bowls similar to the ones shown (or similar in pattern/colors) in the combination of all these photos (over 200 photos to look through).

Please do not shop by just looking at one photograph because one photo can have dinner plates, dessert plates, side plates and/or bowls, all in one... In general, dinner plates and bowls have their design/pattern on the rim/edges, and/or have less design and pattern on them. Please do not place an order and ask for specific plates from a specific photo... because I have 100s of plates at any given time, and cannot open/repack every box to find that specific plate. This listing is for random plates, they all are beautiful!!

In NOTES TO SELLER you can ask for colors/themes, and I will fulfill your order with what I have in stock. Please don't write "send me something fun" or "I want glamorous cups", or "I want sunny colors"... be very specific with colors/themes, because what may be 'fun', 'glamorous' or 'sunny' for you, may not mean the same to me.

I sell my plates by SIZE, and each listing has the size of the plates offered.

When shopping for plates, each component of a typical 5 piece place setting has a specific name, so it is good to know their 'names' and their many uses:

"Dinner Plates" are used to serve entrees, and also used as serving platters. They measure from 9" to 11" in diameter

"Luncheon Plates" are used to serve breakfast, lunch, sandwich, snacks and desserts. They measure from 9" to 10.5" in diameter

"Salad Plates" are used for salads, tea parties, finger foods and hors d'oeuvres. They measure from 7" to 8.5" in diameter

"Dessert Plates" are used for cake, pies, desserts, tea parties. They measure from 7" to 8.5" in diameter

"Bread and Butter Plates" are used to serve bread, toast, finger foods, desserts, tea parties. They measure from 5" to 7" in diameter

"Bowls" are used to serve ice cream, fruit salad, soup, petite salads. They measure from 4" to 8" in diameter.

Think of your table display and find the right size plate for your needs!
