BoCo - BoCo is a BR Class 28 Co-Bo Diesel-electric engine. His name is derived from his Co-Bo wheel arrangement, though reversed as the Reverend W. Awdry thought "BoCo" sounded more affectionate.

55005 'THE PRINCE OF WALES'S OWN REGIMENT OF YORKSHIRE' at Doncaster on 21st June 1981 having retired on 8th February 1981. Either this or 55002 were to be preserved at the NRM, both having 'Yorkshire' in their names. The latter got the nod, and 55005 was cut up in 1983.(Andy Hoare)
