The Luxapalila Valley Railroad (LXVR) is a 38-mile short line freight railroad that interchanges with the Columbus & Greenville Railway, Kansas City Southern and Norfolk Southern.  Commodities transported include forest products and waste products.   The LXVR was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2008.

The Dallas, Garland & Northeastern Railroad (reporting marks, DGNO) is a shortline operation based out of Garland, Texas and for many years was part of the RailAmerica family of shortlines but is now owned by Genesee & Wyoming. The Corpus Christi Terminal Railroad (CCPN) is a 30-mile short line freight railroad serving the Port of Corpus Christi and interchanging with BNSF Railway, Kansas City Southern and Union Pacific Railroad.  Commodities transported include aggregates, brick and cement, chemicals, ethanol, food and feed products, machinery, minerals and stone, and petroleum products.  The CCPN was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 1997.
