He had a whole cadre of new fans overnight. My pre-teen gal pals and I were already fans, but we were swooning all over at school the next day - 'did you see Ricky last night?'  Ricky sang the Fats Domino standard  I'm Walkin' which he recorded  March 26, 57 for Verve Records. Ricky was only 17.
