If you're driving to #Queenstown from Christchurch make sure you call in at Lake Pukakai. In the visitors centre you'll find the Mount Cook Alpine Salmon shop. Holy cow this salmon is the s**t. I've never tasted fish like it. We bought whole fillet, a bottle of citrus soy and some cream cheese and devoured the entire lot while soaking in the alpine views. Heaven!
