I coloured my octopus / tentacle / cthulhu / kraken scientific illustration drawing with watercolor / watercolour paints.  The Sakura micron pens I use are waterproof once dry, which makes them perfect for this type of drawing.  For this piece I used a black 005 nib pen.  I studied Marine Vertebrate Zoology / Marine Biology at University and found that cephalopods are pretty incredible, it's only natural that my art reflects this interest.
