Zeus Lykaios enthroned left holding eagle; before, thymiaterion. BMC 116; Naville 83; SNG Cop 1209 (possibly same dies). This gold issue was payment to the Macedonian forces to protect the semi-autonomous nature of Kyrene, center for the valuable silphium trade.
