Every time we take communion, Jesus instructed us at the last supper, to remember the torturous abuse that He endured straight through to His crucifixion. The punishment we deserved as sinners, and He did not deserve because He was sinless. But He loves us so much He did it anyway because He knew we would not have survived the full unabated wrath of God for punishment of our sin. WHAT LOVE!!
