This is a Fabada Asturiana which is made with butter beans, black pudding, chunks of pork etc and is extremely greasy. Unlike my husband I did not mop up the juices with loads of bread and end up with roaring hearburn!
Hake "Juan Mari Arzak" Hake (merluza) is a staple of Spanish seafood cooking, and indeed, so influential has Arzak been that versions of this dish are still, 35 years later, pretty commonplace in Spain.
Pears in Puff Pastry. Slice pear in half, core it, and add cuts. Place pears on ready-made puff pastry, cut around inch. Brush pastry with beaten egg, sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 180 for 15 mins. (link is not working but all info is here)
