Mrs. Patrick Guinness, circa 1962, in a silk Chanel suit of midnight blue banded by clover pink and yellow stripes. The ‘new’ Chanel suit had a tighter silhouette, and had a collar and lapels. No mention of the pearls’ provenance but her bracelet was also Chanel. Mrs. Guinness was always a fashion plate.
