Nebulosas vdB 76, vdB 77 y vdB 78.

I used to want to be an astronomer and it is something that still really interests me. I love space and stars and galaxies and constellations. * it looks like roses in the spiral galaxy like the red bits

NGC 474 is an elliptical galaxy in the constellation Pisces. This large galaxy is known to possess tidal tails, although their origins remain unknown. These tidal tails may be related to debris left over from absorbing numerous small galaxies in the past.

Andromeda Galaxy... stargazing is so relaxing, it always puts things into perspective for me!

The Andromeda Galaxy is a spiral galaxy approximately 780 kiloparsecs from Earth. Also known as Messier or NGC it is often referred to as the Great Andromeda Nebula in older texts. Distance to Earth: light years!

Colors are fabulous!

The California Nebula It reminds me so much of our Laser Starfield Projectors!

Depressed people live in parallel time zone, scientists find ~People with severe depression have a disrupted “biological clock” that makes it seem as if they are living in a different time zone.

Spaghetti Nebula (Simeis 147) Located between the Auriga and Taurus constellations, this supernova created a really unique remnant after the major explosion. The filaments of material that were left behind in the supernova remnant emit a strong radio signal, and produce a beautiful wispy visual. The Sombrero Galaxy in Infrared One of the largest galaxies in the nearby Virgo Cluster of Galaxies. The dark band of dust that obscures the mid-section of the Sombrero Galaxy in optical light actually glows brightly in infrared light. The above image, digitally sharpened, shows the infrared glow, recently recorded by the orbiting Spitzer Space Telescope

Sombrero Galaxy is one of the largest in nearby Virgo cluster of galaxies. A dark band of dust obscures the mid-section in optical light but glows brightly in infra-red light; as recorded by the orbiting Spitzer Space Telescope.

We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars. — Carl Sagan

Combined visible and infra-red light images of star forming region Sharpless This nebula is located about light-years away in the direction of the constellation Cygnus. It formed less years ago, making this one of the youngest star-forming regions known.
