Old French two sided cut paper doll of a cantiniere. The figure looks a little like the Empress Eugenie , wife of Napoleon III .

So Tom Holberg, in a short article on cantinieres at   http://www.napoleon-series.org/military/organization/c_cantinieres.html refers to cantinieres as having been issued medallions or badges indicated their position. Is that what this is on her tonnelet strap? In this picture, it looks almost like she’s got the little bomb on her medallion, like the one on the antique piece. Hmmmm… more research necessary.  pic from blog "I like what I like"
