Candies--I wasn't allowed to have a pair because I was told they were "suggestive". LOL

I've been on the hunt for a pair of old-school Candies slides. So cute, and the heel is just right!loved these shoes.

Famolare shoes. I broke my leg in 8th grade playing basketball in these exact shoes... in front of the entire student body.

Candies--had these

I loved my Candies. Candies in Caramel Suede and wooden heel. Made in Italy. I cant believe hat I wore these for hours at work! And I had to stand.

The legs in Eggs

L'eggs Display & We kept and collected those shiny plastic egg shaped packages. I loved the L'eggs hose.

Candies shoes. The epitome of 1970's footwear

Did Anyone Really Like High School?

Candies shoes - loved these too, although I probably was really too young to wear such s high heel!

We'd roll up our jean and be styling in a pair of wood clogs. Even a few of the guys I went to school with wore them. I still like clogs!

Clogs, wooden-soled very heavy shoes. So in style in late I was the only girl in school who was not allowed to have these. My father worked at the school and hated listening to the clomping.

I wore mine out-every year I needed a new pair of Dr. Scholls. My favorites!

These are Dr Scholl's exercise sandals. These were our version of the sketchers exercise shoes today.

More Yoyos - these are the ones I remember first seeing!

I had one pair of yo yo's and I was a little girl. Every girl in middle school had yo yo's.

Kork-Ease Ava Sandal. My summer shoe in the 70's and back in my closet again! The leather's patina mellows and warms with age...

Platform sandals from 1977 my mom bought them for me so I could wear them for my school concert and for Easter! I just remembered, we called them Buffalo Shoes!

Yup. We all had these.
