inspiring work: lucie rie

all photos copyright of the artist's estate I learned recently about Lucie Rie through my friend, and fellow ceramicist, Paula, who is a fan of Lucie's work. Lucie was born in 1902 in Vienna, and died, at age 93, in London where she lived for 57 years.
