Haunted house in El Salto de Tequendama, Colombia. I would LIVE here <3

"Haunted Hotel" at Tequendama Falls, Colombia. The name of this hotel is Hotel del Salto. It is an old hotel and abandoned and its old design makes it look a little haunted.

The mansion was built in 1886 and was home to James Francis who lived there for five years until he died, and the house was purchased by Colonel M.E. Billings, a civil war veteran. Billings ran his law office from the Francis House until he died of pneumonia in 1918. After Billing’s death, the house was turned into a private hospital that ran until 1965, when state inspectors shut it down for failure to meet the current health and safety codes. It’s been abandoned ever since.

This abandoned chapel in Memphis, Tennessee, is boarded up and practically shouted to a few urban explorers to go inside and see what is there. The disused crypt portion had no coffins in the shelves, but the inside was in complete disarray. Old broken coffins were broken open and scattered throughout the place. Although there were no signs of any dead laid to rest here, and no corpses, it was still very creepy.

In a tribute to Memorial Day, with the help of urbex, urban exploration photos, we will virtually visit and pay respect to these 15 abandoned and creepy crypts.

Villa Epecuen: The Town That Was Submerged For 25 Years Back in the 1920s, a tourist village named Villa Epecuen was established along the shore of Lago Epecuen, a salt lake some 600 kilometers southwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lago Epecuen is like most other mountain lakes, except for one important difference. It has salt levels second only to the Dead Sea, and ten times higher than any ocean. Lago Epecuen’s therapeutic powers have been famous for centuries.
