The large [32cm/13”long] solitary Quetzel of Trogon family found in Costa Rica forests & woodlands, especially in humid highlands-are slightly bigger than other trogon species, with iridescent green/ golden-green wing coverts, back, chest & head, with a red belly, are strongly sexually dimorphic, with a brown or grey female.
