Today the Church celebrates the feast of Sts. Simon and Jude, two of the original 12 apostles. We don't know much about the lives of these great Saints, but we do know that they both preached in Mesopotamia and Persia and were faithful witnesses to Christ until their deaths as martyrs for the faith.
