Two-colored sticks, with student names. Flip over once each child has been picked. Keeps the class fair :-)

Use two colors for name calling sticks. Flip the stick after you've called that student. OR if you teach 2 classes, assign each class a different color and have a student flip them when they get in.

Texting Door- Students can text about what is happening. There are 30 laminated sentences strips so everyone (including me) has a place to "text" on the door.
