Veterans Day parade NYC Youngest Medal of Honor recipient meets oldest living recipient. They include Marine Corps veteran Dakota Meyer and Nicholas Oresko, the nation's oldest living honoree.

Iwo Jima Memorial..The Iwo Jima Memorial, also known as the U. S. Marine Corps War Memorial, honors the Marines who have died defending the United States since 1775. The Iwo Jima Memorial is located near Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from Washington, DC.  Very emotional place to visit..especially watching the Sunset Review Parade Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m., May through August.

Iwo Jima - This month-long battle included some of the fiercest and bloodiest fighting of the War in the Pacific of World War II.when i was in grade my teachers husband came and talked at my school he was there and witnessed this!
