For many people with EDS or HSD, hands and wrists can become painful. Whether because they are over-gripping objects due to differences in proprioception, hand weakness, or because of the position they use to manipulate items, this reel showcases one product that I really like.
The @eazyhold products come in all different sizes and can help with grasping items without having to “grasp.” They can be used to sweep with a broom, over a hairdryer, water bottle, tennis racquet, wooden spoon in the kitchen, or toothbrush as seen here. The options are endless for how you can protect your hand joints with these nifty straps.
Find the link in my bio to check these out under “favorite products.”
Is it hard for you to hold items throughout the day or week? There are other tricks that I’m excited to share as well. Let me know in the comments what is most challenging for you!
ID: Emily demonstrating use of a toothbrush normally with hand grip and switching to use of an EasyGrip which you can find on Amazon (she shows clip of this). The handles are silicone and allow you to slip them on the toothbrush to then place your hand straight though and the half circle shape handle allows you to bush your teeth.
