Clints and grikes in the Burren, Co, Clare, karts limestone landscape.  County Clare, Ireland.  The region measures approxiately 250 square kilometres and is enclosed roughly within the circle comprised by the villages Ballyvaughan, Kinvara Tubber, Corofin, Kilfenora dnd Lisdoonvarna, It is bounded  by the Atlantic and Galway Bay on the west and north.    There are a number of charted caves in the area.  Doolin is a populare base camp for cavers.

A unique limestone landscape glacially formed thousands of years ago. Characterised by unusual species of flora and limestone clints and grikes.
