Ancient Chinese Musical Instruments Although i did not list all of these, i also have a few others that are not in this picture. Instead of the traditional violins, cellos, bass, tubas, and many more in a regular American orchestra, I envision our group's orchestra to play with instruments like these in the picture. One would also call it a Chinese orchestra, otherwise similar to an American one just without the American instruments.

Xun - The xun is a globular, flute-like, Chinese musical instrument. The xun was initially made of stone or bone, and later of clay or ceramic. It is similar to an ocarina but without a fipple mouthpiece.
