Paul Poiret - 1924.  El fin de la I Guerra Mundial, a la que logró sobrevivir y en la que sirvió como sastre en el Ejército, supuso una nueva forma, más industrial, de concebir la moda. Amante de la ornamentación y de la artesanía, se negó a seguir el juego y acabó cerrando su casa de Costura. Murió arruinado y olvidado.
