Hand tied bow for door hanger - an easy way to make a bow by hand without the fancy equipment.
- •Grab yourself some wired 1.5” or 2” ribbon
- •Cut into 8” strips - you’ll need 6 pieces
- •Dovetail one end of each piece of ribbon
- •Make a loop (pattern on the outside if it’s a single side patterned ribbon) and cinch in the middle
- •Repeat with each strip and layer one on top of the other in a crisscross pattern
- •Grab a zip tie, or string, and tie tightly around the cinched part of the ribbons strips
- •“Fluff” your bow by arranging the loops
- •Attach to door hanger with hot glue and staples
- •Fluff again and place door hanger on your door
Now you have a beautiful door hanger with an easy hand tied bow!
