Where most game artists have a palette that starts at "violent" and ends at "dark", Theo Prins' work here has a warmth and colour to it that's as refreshing as it is a pleasure to look at.

Simon Kopp and I had the opportunity to work on Spiritwalk Games' Shardbound late 2015 into early 2016. We at Airborn studios helped develop the look and feel of the playable areas within the game and worked on a few character designs. I was responsible for creating the look of the cauldrons while keeping close to the established style of the robots. Most of the assets seen in this paint where sculpted in Zbrush. Art Direction by Jan-Bart van Beek and Misja Baas.

The two worlds existed as one pull out of time sync. It wasn't until the Portal was create that the two existences were aware of each other. Seemingly identically planets caught in an ever changing turmoil.
