Marker reflections.  Draw the top half with marker, spray with water, and fold and press to transfer the image. Try with trees?

sprayed the bottom of the paper generously with water (I imagine that doing a quick water wash would work just as well). Color top half with washable Crayola markers. Spray bottom half with water. Fold paper and press.

Huangshan. I can't believe how much these photographs look just like traditional Chinese landscape painting.
