There are so many photos like this that emerged during WWI. Imagery such as this is significant because these soldiers evoke a sense of carefree-ness. There was something to be said about sending your husband off to war; there was something romantic about it. I believe this perspective still exists today considering how many 'Army Wives' speak out and share their story in the media.

Warms My Heart....    "The Rescuing Hug" - these premature twins were in separate incubators and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse placed the babies side by side in the same incubator and once they were together, the healthier of the two, threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller, sick baby's heart rate stabilized and her temperature rose to normal....

One twin was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought to put them in the same incubator. The stronger baby wrapped her arm around her sister, and her touch allowed the struggling baby's heart to stabilize and her temperature to return to normal.

One of the most precious gifts we can give our children is to teach them compassion❤️
