JOSEF FRANK is an Austrian-born architect, artist, and designer who lived in Sweden. Together with Oskar Strnad, he created the Vienna School of Architecture, and its concept of Modern houses and interiors. He worked in the Stockholm design company Svenskt Tenn (Swedish Pewter), where he founded "Swedish modern" design. He adopted Swedish citizenship in the latter half of his life.

At Josef Frank fled Nazi Vienna for Sweden, where he designed colorful, comfortable, interesting furniture, fabric and wallpaper.
