Dogma, Field of Walls, 2012. It responds to Eisenman’s Piranesi Variation’s brief to reimagine Giovanni Piranesi’s Campo Marzio (1792) etchings. The Belgian practice has rendered ravishing plans and sections which hang beside a pristine white model of a possible Rome dominated by a grid of walls. Dogma, cryptically, are lead by “how the politics embedded in the etchings are not a function of forms but of walls..”
