  • 4 rebanadas de pan de sandwich ((del día anterior))
  • 1/2 pimiento morrón
  • 1 cebolla blanca pequeña
  • 2 dientes de ajo
  • 2 ramitos de perejil
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • 1/4 cucharadita de pimienta
  • 1 1/2 lb [0.75 kg] de filete de pescado sin piel ((mero, chillo, colorado, etc.))
  • 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
  • 1 cebolla blanca grande cortada en tiras
  • 2 dientes de ajo majado
  • 4 tomates grandes cortados en cubos
  • 1 1/2 pimiento morrón cortado en tiras
  • 1 taza de salsa de tomate
  • 1 taza de agua
  • 1/2 taza de aceitunas sin semillas (, rebanadas (opcional))
  • 2 ramitos de cilantro
  • 3 limones ((limas fuera de la RD) cortadas en mitades)
  • 1 cucharadita de sal
