A MINIATURE FRENCH TIME PIECE. Lyre-shaped with green enamel inset field enameled with white figures of man and woman with cherubs above, the border in turquoise and red enamels, star of David at crest. The clock dial in white with blue Roman numerals having gold star dividers. Key built-in back and stand. Height 3 in., width 2 in. Late 19th century.
The porcelain face on this clock is immaculate. No hairline cracks, chips or missing pieces. Has the name of a Doussard Barthelemy on it that was probably a jeweler. This is an old clock, and amazingly is see no cracking going on.
