Race Rock Light is a lighthouse on Race Rock Reef, southwest of Fishers Island, New York. The reef is a dangerous set of rocks off the coast of Fishers Island on Long Island Sound and was the site of many shipwrecks
Nouvelle Digue Sud at Le Harve Harbor, France. The original lighthouse was built in 1906 but was destroyed in the fighting of WW2 in 1944. The present lighthouse was built in 1948 and still operating. It guides ships into the harbor from the English Channel.
