French photographer and illustrator Thomas Lamadieu takes pictures of the sky in courtyards and built up areas to create a natural frame for his pictures. He then fills in the sky area with illustrations.

Inspired by the silhouettes and lines of urban architecture, French artist Thomas Lamadieu (AKA Roots Art) uses the big empty spaces in between buildings as his canvas, transforming the sky in his photographs into whimsical drawings.
