Ohr's pottery was rediscovered in the early 1970's by the art dealer Jim Carpenter. He bought the entire Ohr legacy (approximately 7,000 pots) and in turn sold the pottery to various dealers. Many of the pots were in bisque form (Unglazed). While Ohr intended these pots to remain unglazed, early dealers thought the works were unfinished.
