Murmur of starlings  So I was hurrying out to the parking lot one cold November day after work, round 4:30 EST.  The sky was grey, but gradually blackened, and I discovered hundreds of starlings flying overhead.  I lost count at 200 and they still came. What was the most curious thing was that they were SILENT.  It felt like something awful was going to happen.  But it did not. Thank God.

Murmur of starlings - is actually pretty creepy when you wake up to a huge flock in your back yard.

My Dad used to raise ostrich and emus. They would peck at nail heads on the fence post and gulp and swallow as if they actually ate something! So funny!
