A breathtaking story of two women living in Afghanistan.  You will cry, feel rage and love for these women.

"A Thousand Splendid Suns" Khaled Hosseini. His novel "The Kite Runner" is more popular, but this is wonderful story, and in my opinion the better book.

For my historical fiction book I read 'The Book Thief'. I really enjoyed this book. I think there were many unique aspects all throughout this book. One of these aspects is the fact that the narrator is a mystery all throughout the book (I solved this mystery very  quickly).

LOVED this book growing up. Lost track of how many times I've read it.
