Sofreh - The Art of Persian Celebration - published by ACC Art Books
An original sofreh, entitled "Seven Steps", incorporating some symbolic elements of Nowruz, and highlighting the number 7—7 sabzeh and glowing candles are placed on one side of the staircase, while 7 oversized apples, shimmering tea lights and ceramic pomegranates decorate the other side. The centre of this inclining sofreh is embellished with 7 vases of spring flowers and foliage, draped antique kilims, a single oversized crimson pomegranate, miniature apples and fresh garlic.
