Ground breaking....the story of how the film actually came to fruition is great. I was too young to get this movie..but as I watch it 'now' I see female empowerment and security in knowing you have choices. I see Spike Lee taking the negative epitaphs/double standards thrown upon liberal women and saying WHATEVER America! Women have choices too and should not be ashamed of them! I enjoyed the story of growth.
