Deep Red Velvet Brain Cake with Fondant Brain Tissue and Raspberry Jam Blood

The inside of the brain is a deep red velvet cake, iced lightly with Italian Meringue buttercream, and topped with fondant patterns that resemble brain tissue. It’s amazing what a little raspberry jam can do. This human brain looks fresh from a skull! I am not sure who will want to eat this cake, but I can guarantee it will be tasty.
