Gut Healthy Meal
My favorite easy and simple meal that is great for gut health! Pasture raised chicken with lots of herbs - meat on the bone contains gelatin which is great for mucousal health. Amino acids are also needed for gut integrity. Carminative herbs aid in digestion. Japanese (purple) sweet potatoes - contains prebiotics and polyphenols. Polyphenols help feed the good gut guys like Akkermansia (a keystone species) Raw carrot salad - aids in the detoxification of endotoxins
