Franciscan El Patio Table Ware by Gladding McBean
In 1933 Gladding McBean began production of their first table ware line. Solid brightly colored dinnerware from California was becoming all the rage with Catalina and Bauer leading the way.
Other CA pottery companies were also to follow but Franciscan El Patio was the most prolific with an almost endless selection of bowls, plates, coffee servers and pitchers. The quality of the pottery was second to none with their advanced one fire method making their dinnerware chip and wear resistant.
