Steel girders on the underside of the New River Gorge Bridge in Fog, West Virginia
Walking the catwalk under the bridge in the fog was a different experience. When the bridge was new, anyone could walk under the bridge. They later fenced it off. Running Fayette Station in the fog was just as fun. The highest we ran it was 14' on the Fayette gauge. At that level all 3 of the Keeney Brothers rapids were one long chute with no stops in the middle. 4' was the best level we ran it as it was pushy but had lots of routes.
